BioWaveGO Pain Relief Pad placements are different from conventional electrical stimulation. The active electrical field forms beneath and surrounding each pad. As a result, pads need to be placed directly over specific locations of pain.
Pads must not touch each other:
• One inch is the minimum spacing between pads
• There is no maximum spacing between pads
Getting Started Video - Back Treatment
Low Back Pain in Two Locations
(Bilateral Low Back Pain)
Place each pad directly over the most painful area on each side of the low back.
Low Back Pain in One Location
Place first pad over the single location of pain – in this example it is the pad on the right side of the back. Place the second pad, lower and over the spine (a comfortable location to receive stimulation)
Lower Back Pain
(S.I. Joint Pain)
Place each pad one inch apart from each other directly over the painful area at the lowest part of the spine (over the sacroiliac joint or sacrum).
Radiating Back Pain
Place the first pad over the origin of the pain, half an inch from the center of the spine in the direction the pain is radiating. Place the second pad over the first location pain presents that is closest to the origin, in this example, on the buttock. Note, pads must be placed directly on the skin.
Back Pain Over Multiple Discs
Place each pad over the spine directly over the most painful area one inch apart from each other.
Pain Over Large Area
on One Side of Back
Place each pad one inch apart from each other, both directly over the large area of pain.
