Connection Issue with pads and/or leadwire cable:

a. If an icon appears in the lower right corner of the display showing a cable with an arrow pointing to the unit, please make sure the leadwire cable is connected to the unit.

b. If an icon appears in the lower right corner of the display showing 2 pads withwith an arrow pointing to the cable, please make sure the two pads are connected to the other two ends of the cable.

c. If an icon appears in the lower right corner of the display showing 2 pads withwith an arrow pointing to the body, please make sure (1) that the skin has been cleaned at the two locations the pads are to be placed and (2) that the two pads are tacky and placed on the skin over locations of pain. If this does not if this does not resolve this error condition, and the pads are not tacky, please try using a new set of pads.

If Damaged/Dropped/LCD blue backlight is on, but no white characters appear:

a. If LCD display is sitting ¼” low behind the clear plexiglass cover. Dark space may appear above the top of the LCD display. If so, unit needs to be returnedto their VA/Dr. office so it can be shipped to BioWave for repair.

Battery:

a. Have you charged the unit for at least 3 hrs.?

i. If yes – do you see a battery icon with 3 or 4 bars on the lower left of the screen? If yes, and the unit will only operates for less than 30 minutes before the LOW BAT error appears on the display, then you will need to return the unit to receive a new one. Please follow up with your Dr.

ii. If no – please charge for 3 hrs. and let us know if you still have an issue.
