The round electrode is placed directly over the primary point of pain on the hip.

The large rectangular electrode is placed on the lateral aspect of the thigh at or just beneath the hip bone.

The two round electrodes are placed 0.5 - 1 inch apart covering the entire area where the pain is presenting itself on the hamstring.
